Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to how we work, what we cover, and how we keep reviews honest and useful.

Who runs Electronomi?
I’m Patrick, the editor behind Electronomi. We publish honest electronics reviews, side-by-side comparisons, buying guides, tips, and curated deals.
What categories do you cover?
Audio, Laptops & PCs, Phones, Smart Home & Gadgets, Buying Guides, Comparisons, Tips, Deals.
How do you test products?
Real-world usage with a disciplined scorecard: design/build (15%), performance (25%), battery/efficiency (15%), features & connectivity (20%), ease of use (10%), ecosystem/support (10%), value (5%). We update scores as firmware and prices change.
Do brands influence your reviews?
No. Editorial independence is non-negotiable. We may accept loaner units, but we don’t sell positive coverage.
Do you use affiliate links?
Some links are affiliate and may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partnerships don’t affect our verdicts.
Do you use AI in your workflow?
AI helps with research, transcripts, and first drafts. Humans do testing, analysis, and final edits. AI images are labeled.
How often do you update guides and comparisons?
Quarterly at minimum, plus ad-hoc updates for major launches, price drops, or firmware that changes the experience.
Where do your prices apply?
U.S. by default. Availability and pricing vary; always check the retailer’s live page for your region.
Can I request a review or suggest a product?
Yes—use the Contact page. Brands: include SKU, MSRP, region, and what’s new since launch.
What’s your corrections policy?
We correct quickly and add a dated changelog note to the article.
Do you have a newsletter?
Yes. The Electronomi Weekly Brief delivers one smart guide, one comparison highlight, and a top deal—no spam.
